Bar Stool pairs a solid wooden frame with a seat and back made from recycled hard plastic sourced from VeryNile’s workshops, where local women sort, wash, and melt plastic waste into dense, durable sheets. By choosing specific color ranges during sourcing, we’re able to guide the overall tone of each piece while still keeping the natural variation that comes with recycled material.
The result is a surface that’s strong, expressive, and practical. The speckled plastic adds a clear visual texture that contrasts the clean wooden structure, giving the stool a balanced character — simple in form, but visually alive.
