A larger, vertical iteration of one of our earliest candle holders.
Measuring 90 cm in height and width, the piece is hand-forged in metal, with branching arms that hold multiple candles. Fish motifs are integrated into the structure, referencing SamakLaban’s core visual language.
Designed to stand on its own, Anemone works as a floor candelabra in living spaces, dining areas, or entry points — adding height and a shifting light presence as candles are lit across its arms. It can also be used as a centerpiece for gatherings, or placed within the showroom as a functional object that transitions between display and use.
Developed in collaboration with artist Walid, this piece is part of an ongoing series of reinterpretations — where existing designs are revisited through different hands and approaches.
