The charmer
Description
The Charmer Chandelier grew out of a series of experiments with folded wood sheets — first explored as lampshades, then as wall-mounted light forms. Through testing scale and curvature, one particular fold proved to hold itself with clarity and balance. That fold became the chandelier.
Made from a single bent sheet of wood, the form loops inward and returns onto itself, creating a continuous surface that gently shapes the light. The construction relies on proportion and tension rather than structure, allowing the material to remain visually light while holding a clear presence in space.
Suspended by rope, the chandelier carries a quiet informality that offsets the precision of the fold. When lit, the wood softens the glow, producing a warm, contained light that feels calm rather than dramatic. Its scale allows it to sit comfortably above tables, in corners, or as a standalone sculptural light within a room.
The Charmer is not fixed to a single context — it settles easily into different interiors, adapting to domestic and shared spaces alike.
